Project Scope

Full gut remodel with 11 replacement windows. Fresh drywall seams needed a high-build, sand-able primer to hide joint banding before color.

Our Solution

Graco 395 sprayer with a 517 tip laid down two wet passes of Sherwin-Williams PrepRite® ProBlock. Once dry, we pole-sanded with 220-grit for a glass-smooth Level 4.

Prime-Out Steps (6 hours)

Mask windows & floors with 1-mil poly

Vac-sand joints & spot prime hot mud

Spray 1st high-build coat @ 2000 PSI

Cross-roll to even out film

Light pole-sand (220 grit)

Final dust-off & inspection under LED raking light

High-build acrylic latex primer—hides drywall banding up to 12 mils wet.
